It’s getting hotter and hotter. Just came back from the beach in Enoshima. Should have brought one of these phones to the water. “Hey, there’s a great wave coming, blub..”
According to the company: “this baby is completely waterproof but don’t go scuba diving… the maximum depth is three metres but you can now officially take a shower or go to the swimming pool with your cellphone.”

Japanese police have a lot of resources in terms of riot control. They have big vehicles with bar covered windows, and they practice a lot. I see this all the time because I live next to a large police station. I always wondered why, since street violence is extremely rare here in Japan. Found this video about student riots in the 1960s. Yes, in Japan! Guess the Japanese police use this video every year when the ask for next years funds. “Remember those riots in the 60s, give us money to buses with water cannons on top”

When moving in Japan people bring their fridge, sometimes stove and AC with them. We decided to buy a new AC system for our new house. Yes, this means six units (3+3)! This being very expensive we managed to find a good deal on the internet. Three systems for 100 000 Yen.
