About
Gaijindo is a made up word that means “The way of the foreigner” the same way karate means “the way of the empty hand”. Way here stands for path of life more than a physical road. Yes, I know it is a bit pretentious, but I think it is funny. It is a way of describing this site where I write on all the things that happen to me living in Japan as a foreigner. Feel free to comment on the writing or contact me if you want to. /k
Kris Hamilton is a Swedish tv-professional who lives in Yokohama. He will be writing about his training in the martial arts, studying of the Japanese language, things to see (and eat) in Japan. He wants to learn how to sing “Ue o Muite Arukou” in Japanese and also to acquire the black belt in full contact karate.
