If you live in Chiba (Tokyo) you can stop at Minami-Funabashi to pick up some kimchi on your way! A great thing about Japan is that they have some of the biggest companies in the world and at the same time a lot of small entrepreneurs too. Like this stand outside the train station selling home made kimchi from a table.

I was to much in a hurry last time I went past, but will try to pick up some next time to let you know if it is any good. (It is the same station as the first IKEA store).

To me it is just incredible how one table one product stores can exist like this. An I guess kimchi is a good thing so sell here. They certainly do not have it at the combinis inside the station, nor at IKEA!
