					<description>I heartily agree: the why should come way before the how. I see a lot of people arguing against this style and that but I think they're missing the point; not everyone trains for the same reason, you might want to be able to defend yourself but the next guy might just be in it for the cardio.

I think what's important is to know what you're after, why you're after it, *then* make sure you're getting what you want because while there are legit schools out there, there are also people who misrepresent themselves.

And have patience, because I don't believe in the 3 easy steps approach to martial arts. It takes a lifetime of study :)</description>
