Full Contact Karate Fight
10th September 2006
This is the story in a two minute video of how your humble narrator got his butt kicked in today’s tournament. (It is me in the white headgear.) A full report on this event will follow. Meanwhile, if any of you have some good advice for me on how I will win next time I will gladly accept it.

I think you did fine. It just seems like the other guy had better endurance and was able to be more aggressive toward the end. From this angle that seemed to be the only factor in your way.

Thanks! Yes, I realised that I was out of breath. Sure I need some more cardio training, but also to learn better breathing techniques.

Think you did a good jobb! Your opponent was just more agressive with his punches. Keep you guard up better and you will win next time!

Cardio is key here. I think you got winded, plus maybe a little frustrated that his punches were getting through. Keep your guard up, continue on the cardio training, and be more aggressive the next time. Osu!

A friend of mine composed the music for another production I was doing. Tried it with this video and it works. Gives it a spooky feeling. /kris

Try a sidekick when you get rushed instead of the roundhouse. Looks good!
