OK, here is the story. Crazy man jumps down on the tracks. Yells and throws stones. What happens is that the railway company people go down and get him. Then a private security guard holds him down in a choke hold. After that? You guessed, enter the police. When the job is all done.
Never seen so much police officers out! During the G8 in Hokkaido there was police everywhere in Tokyo. During the short walk changing trains in Shibuya they where all over the place. Where did they come from? Where do they work all the other days of the year? Are the reservists?
Just came across the blog “Stuffwhitepeoplelike“. One of the things white people like is, Japan:
…But it goes beyond just food, all white people either have/will/or wished they had taught English in Japan. It is a dream for them to go over seas and actually live in Japan. This helps them not only because it fills their need to travel, it will enable them to gain important leverage over other white people at Sushi restaurants where they can say “this place is pretty good, but living in Japan really spoiled me. I’ve had such a hard time finding a really authentic place.”
Hmm.. yes, I am guilty of that last thing. But it is true, the sushi is sooo much better here… hehe.
Februari 14 was the day for the Smackgirl WORLD ReMix TOURNAMENT 2008. Female MMA. Held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo Dome City.
Three fighters from Zendokai took part. Only Megu scored a win. Saori Ishioka did a good match. She did the full two rounds and got many hits and some throws/takedowns. A few times she was close to getting Ham Seo Hee into submission but no win. Ham Seo Hee was stronger and pushed the fight with fast series of punches. From what I could tell Ishioka also had a bit of bad day. She just looked like she was in a bad mood. I am sure she will come back with a vengeance next time. Ishioka scoring a throw
Shot another fight event and got this cool pic. I was happy to get the shot exactly when the block breaks in two! I sent it to Metropolis for picture of the week, but got picture of the day at Japan today instead. Well.
